As a special highlight, the course includes a hands-on session making Jiaozi, traditional Chinese dumplings enjoyed during Lunar New Year. You’ll prepare meat and vegetarian fillings, practice folding techniques, learn boiling and pan-frying, and make two dipping sauces. You will learn vocabulary related to food and experience Chinese culture firsthand.
The cours offers a natural, step-by-step approach to learning everyday spoken Chinese in a warm and supportive small-group setting. The course builds on the previous Chinese Taster Courses. Basic knowledge of pinyin, greetings, nationalities, age, dates, family, pets, time and the Chinese Zodiac is recommended.
